Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys at Nick's on 2nd, Feb. 2, 2008

Nick's on 2nd continued Saturday night with a stellar line-up of bands for Mardi Gras with Steve Riley and the Mamou Playboys, whose recorded version of the Mardi Gras song gets played more than any other. The band was on the streets of Mamou a couple of days later the night before Mardi Gras and on the streets of Eunice Mardi Gras afternoon, but, for anyone looking for a true Cajun dancehall experience, Nick's was the place to be Saturday night.
